If you need a little more pressure to finish up your Christmas gift shopping this app is here to help. Christmas Badge Countdown displays an image on the app cover art with a number indicating the total number of days remaining until Christmas. Opening the app gives you a full calendar and clock countdown combination that is precise down to the second – if you need that much detail. In the app you can listen to a few holiday songs. You can also practice playing them on the tiny instructional piano within the app.

Christmas List is a practical app that is great for making lists and keeping track of things to do. This app is similar to other list making apps you may already have. The app is free and easy to use. There is an in-app function that allows you to email a copy of your list or set the list image as your wallpaper.

In the iTree Christmas Tree app you can decorate your tree and save photos of it to use as wallpaper. The background scenery changes to include snow and night sky. It also changes to indicate a different location like a living room. The app is interactive – shake the phone while the snow is falling and you have a virtual snow globe. Don’t shake too hard or quickly! This is a cute app that you may want to keep on your iPhone all year. When Christmas day passes the lights disappear, the tree disappears and by February a new tree sapling appears. Watch as the sapling grows throughout the year, becoming a full sized tree by December.

Each year on Christmas Eve a local television station has a segment that discusses Santa’s whereabouts and attempts to track his movement and progress. There is even a website dedicated to this particular purpose! The Santa Tracker iPhone app does this and much more! Use this app to track Santa’s progress via GPS and global imaging. You can also read Santa’s daily updates and text messages. There are even jokes from the snowman, a craft section, and recipe section from Mrs. Claus.
