One of my favorite free weight loss apps is My FitnessPal. I like to use both the online and mobile versions of this one. My FitnessPal allows you to easily track all of the food you eat. They have a food database that features about 3 million foods, allowing you to check out the nutritional values of tons of different foods. My FitnessPal works well with most diet plans.

If your doctor has recommended a specific diet plan for you, such as low cholesterol, Diet Point is a great weight loss app for you. It features over 130 diet plans for you to choose from. Each diet plan has complete shopping lists with them to make your diet plan a little easier. The Diet Point app also has reminders to help you remember when it's time to eat. It also features a weight loss tracker to help you stay on track.

While there is a Pro version of this app that you can upgrade to, there's no need. The free version has everything that you need to successfully lose weight. One of the best things about My Diet Coach is that you can track your goals. It is very user friendly and has a quick start up guide to help you get started. If you need a little extra motivation, it is packed with motivational tips to help you stay on track.

This app has a ton of different workout ideas regardless of your current fitness level.

This app is another app that works well regardless of the diet plan you're following. You can also create a personalized diet plan. Once you've completed your diet plan, you can use the app to easily create grocery lists. Diet Assistant also has a BMI calculator and a weight loss tracker. It also some some cool weight loss tips that go along with each diet plan.

My fitness pal is excellent! You don't have to be dieting as such to use it either...I use it to keep track of foods and exercise. It makes you think twice about having a slice of cheesecake instead if an apple when you know it's being entered in the diary! The scanner is very useful too

Spark people is another awesome app/website you can track everything on the app but on the actual website there are groups for all kinds of things from groups for areas of the country, ages, and other health problems you can blog and use message boards it's like an entire community
